oh man especially since this will be my first build ever...

how do i ground myself just work on a non carpet surface and keep touching the case or something?
i was gonna get an anti-static wrist band but it was 19.99 at compusa i was like yeeah right.

dont do it on carpet. my workbench is on concret (unfinished basement). moving around on carpet to grab parts will charge yourself back up. pretty much stand on a wood or concrete surface. touch the case to discharge yourself and get to work. i have never zapped any parts and from my expereince i find it hard to zap em any more, didnt used to be that way tho.

alright sweet once the case and psu come in i will start building but anyway heres a list of everything i bought

sata power cable y splitter

CPU AMD|A64 X2 4200+ 2.2G 939 1M R

thermal take true light ram heat spreaders (x2)
dual cathode uv lights
250gb 7200rpm sata western digital (x2)
bluetooth usb adapter
Thermal take big water cooling system
lcd fan controller

i think thats it anyway ill have pics up soon
