URGENT!! Need MOBO and Intel RECOMMANDATION!!!

Well, this is very VERY VERY frustrating.

my Mobo/ intel processor deal just fell through. i had a pretty good deal for a intel core 2 duo E8400 Wolfdale 3.0GHz and a ASUS P5Q Pro LGA 775 Intel P45 motherboard. total cost was about $235. But now, newegg just pulled the deal.

Now if i were to get the two items, it will cost about $290. Effectively putting me way over my budget. So i need a freaking new mobo/processor deal. This is really frustrating.

Any suggestions. i need to buy tonight. I am not going to wait any longer and miss out on more deals/parts etc.

Antec 300 and this Newegg.com - CORSAIR CMPSU-450VX 450W ATX12V V2.2 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply - Power Supplies Comes out to just a little over $100 after MIR. It doesn't leave you much (any?) room to add more stuff but it will handle what you've got now.

this will do you fine, decent psu and antec 300 for like 105.

Either is good, FSP are a better brand and has a slightly better efficiency.

A 750tx is overkill. A 550vx would be more than enough power for the op's system and a 450vx would even be ok.
