Card worth buying?

I havent been able to really find much on this card but it seems to be cheap. My friend has a Geforce 7300le and i was wondering if this would be a worth while upgrade for him?

Wow those 1650's are really coming down. I ran a 1650 pro until i built my last rig and it played most stuff fine at 1650x1080. What games is he planning to run?

rome total war, company of heroes, maybe a little oblivion and battlefield

It will definately struggle on oblivion. I mainly used mine for playing world of warcraft.

how about compared to a 7300le? he can barely run it on that, lowest settings. (i know nothing about ati)

The 1650 is already 2 generations old at this point and was only a midrange card. The 7300 is probably close to around 2 generations old also and looks to be a low end card. Personally, if he can swing it, i would just save a bit more for a 3850.

Its going to be more money, but its current gen and should play basically every game on the market for at least a year or 2.
