Question Which card to use for Additional Third Monitor?

Hey Guys first post and i hope to be staying around here

Ok my question is:

I want to add another monitor to my system and i have a 8800GTX but dont want to spend 200 to get another to SLI them so i have been looking at some cheap cards just so i can add a monitor on and extend my desktop.

Most people seem to use the PCI Geforce 6 6200 but would it not make more sense to get a cheap 8 Series PCI-E card? Like the 8500GT?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Relentless.

To just add a monitor you only need a card that will do the resolution you need. If you're not going to game on it, it won't really matter.

If you can get a low end 8xxx, go for it. The older cards are getting scarcer, so their prices are going up.
