Alright, thanks guys. One more question - what's SLI? I was looking at ibuypower.com and alienware.com, and alienware has the same graphics card set with an "SLI enabled" tag following afterwards for like, $937.

ibuypower.com has the same graphics card available too, except it's $738 and it doesn't say "SLI enabled" afterwards. But when you go select the motherboard, I believe two of them have something to do with "SLI" in them. Anyways, is there is there a difference between the two sites in regards to the graphics card(besides the price), what is SLI, and assuming the two graphic cards are different, could I compensate getting a motherboard with SLI?

SLI is having 2 cards on one motherboard (Scaleable Link Interface, i think is what it's called). You have to have the same graphics card in order to SLI them. Right now, SLI really won't do you much of any good. The performance increase compared to the price increase of SLI isnt worth it. I'd get 1 7800GTX 512mb, it will last you for years, and when it gets old, just get another one. By that time, more games will have better support for SLI and you will see a much greater performance increase by having 2 cards.

How long would 2x256mb 7800GT's last for? Same length of time as 1 512mb GTX?

1x256 GT will last you almost as long as 2 of them. The GTX 512 will last well over a year longer than one or even 2 GT's. Man you just won't give up on SLI lol. If you want it for bragging rights, then just let us know and we'll give up trying to convince you not to get it.

Actualy for an honest answer none of these "top of the line" systems will last you past Q2 of next year. UT2007 and Unreal 3 engine games will lag on these systems at high settings.

I've heard that 2x 7800GTX's in SLI will be able to run UT07 on low settings. I think everyone is going to have to upgrade massively.

How can anyone look at that and not know it to be total BS?

A 6600GT will run UT2K7 on low.

I doubt that seriously. Look at the graphics on the screenies. Im thinking high settings are gonna require a phisx card.
