We need one big user guide to be maintained by someone for video cards. I just filled in some blanks randomly and im probably wrong (except that the community loves the EVGA 8800GT... lol.) So, if someone wants to take this on and maintain it, PM me and ill send you the source code for the bottom half of this post (to make it easier on yourself). It was just an idea anyway, what do you think, i beleive it will clear up the forums with un-needed posts.

Its not meant for rankings, its so people look at their price range and say, there, thats what people are going to say i should get.

but why wouldnt they just look at the card ranking list and buy the top ranked one in there price range?

GFX prices are pretty volatile, especially when new tech comes out. Trying to maintain a price list would be a huge chore.

I think TomsHardware does something like this..

I fixed it to choose it better to whats available.. but most of these are based on stuff that was listed on Tomshardware site

I disagree with the last choice on workstation cards...

My choice would probably be the Ati FireGL V7600, or a 2600XT with hacked drivers.
