I quoted what Intel say. I don't know first hand if it will work. It certainly will work with Pentium D CPU's, but then why would they say only compatible with these chipsets...

Yeah, I know the 3700 is single core, but that's okay, since they say it absolutely flies and can be overclocked very well. Okay, since we're not sure about the intel situation, I'm more than happy to go with AMD. So, considering everything else I listed a few posts above, would it be alright to go with that AMD CPU and mobo? Thanks for your help.

Edit: I'm actually going to go with this Gigabyte mobo and this AMD CPU. That's going to work with the rest of my system, correct?
