I think before you should buy anything, you should look at some basic guides like this one, and perhaps do some research.

i have read those articals and i plan on OCing a e6700 to 3.0 ghz
i was wondering as any done this caise wanted to know befor i do this if i will have to increase voltage

yeah u can overclock everything with that board. read this guys review

Summary:
For the price, this MoBo is one **** of an overclocker. I've replaced my Gigabyte 955 Royal MoBo with this one. You can overclock all your stuff. It is very stable. I've been using it for 2 months now and had never had a prob, yet. I like it. System : D975XBX MoBo, Intel 3.2GHz (OC to 3.7GHz), Sapphire x1900XT card, 2 GIG OCZ 667MHz (OC to 707MHz), Zalman Reserator 1 Plus W.Cooling, Maxtor 160GB HDD.....etc.

if your only going to go to 3 ghz.. save your money and get an e6600... 3 ghz is nothing...
