I use a 20-some-odd dollar set I picked up at Best Buy. Altec Lansing, don't know the model. They go behind your head instead of on top of it. Works fine for me.

From the reviews they say it has no bass in the rear

For example if you get shot with a shotgun from behind you wont hear it or its very weak sound

Is this true? A lot of people said the same thing

that would really suck especially since it cost so much....cuz the thompson in enemy-territory sounds like a bass drum

I used it a long time ago...I have a turtle beach one myself...and I remember it being very good, but I'm not sure about the whole bass thing.

it seemed fine... my freind uses it and he can hear my shotgun in soldier front clearly and easily dodges it
