yeah but i really cant spend that much more, this pc comes to about 1100 roughly and is my xmas and 18th pressie, If you have this to choose from, an 8800GT, the radeon 3870 or 2XRadeon 3850's. 2 3850's out perform those cards, maybe even the gtx?

Get a single 8800GT.

The CF 3850s would be ok if they were the 512mb versions..but I just can't recommend anything under 512mb these days.

I really recommend putting all those parts into your basket at scan

Just to see if it comes out any cheaper. I found Scan a bit cheaper than overclockers.

I would try to go with some crucial memory over that OCZ garbage.

For a quad core I suggest a tuniq tower and TT-120Extreme maybe even ultima 90.

hehe we all was noobs once man no worries
lol
pc monitors dont get the high definition labels. its all about the resolution.

Image:Vector Video Standards2.png - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
on here you can see that HD 1080 rez fits in (WUXGA) 1920x1200 rez 24" monitor.
22" are (WSXGA+) 1680x1050 not true HD.

dont get me wrong 22" is a nice screen but i think for £60 more its better to get the higher rez screen thats slightly bigger. You cant overkill the size of a monitor.. more is deffo better
