yeah but i really cant spend that much more, this pc comes to about 1100 roughly and is my xmas and 18th pressie, If you have this to choose from, an 8800GT, the radeon 3870 or 2XRadeon 3850's. 2 3850's out perform those cards, maybe even the gtx?

Get a single 8800GT.

The CF 3850s would be ok if they were the 512mb versions..but I just can't recommend anything under 512mb these days.

I really recommend putting all those parts into your basket at scan

Just to see if it comes out any cheaper. I found Scan a bit cheaper than overclockers.

I would try to go with some crucial memory over that OCZ garbage.

For a quad core I suggest a tuniq tower and TT-120Extreme maybe even ultima 90.

hmm are you sure? Im not going to be too worries if its not FULL 1080PI...even 720 looks pretty decent like...This is my first time building a system and Im not that amazing at knowing all the technical stuff but my mate has helped me a good bit. Any monitors in specific you would recommend?

Samsung SM-245B 24" Widescreen LCD Monitor - Black

full HD is 1920x1080
24" / 1920x1200 = full HD and more :D

£305 is not a shabby price ;)

Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2x1GB) DDR2 PC2-6400C4 800MHz Dual Channel Kit (BL2KIT12864AA804) solid RAM

Doesnt it need to say HD tho or is a full HD monitor purely more pixels? sorry for being a noob haha, i guess i could chip in 100 squid to dad for getting this extar 2" haha sayin he is buying the other 1100 lol seems fair..

ok so here it goes, after looking at different stuff again, this is my improved setup going by your comments and stuff, i went with the hiper 580w because hiper have a very good reputation ive seen and its a good cheap price! This seem good? just to check, anyone know if the cooler fits? im pretty sure it does in the shark full tower!

lol
pc monitors dont get the high definition labels. its all about the resolution.

on here you can see that HD 1080 rez fits in (WUXGA) 1920x1200 rez 24" monitor.
22" are (WSXGA+) 1680x1050 not true HD.

dont get me wrong 22" is a nice screen but i think for £60 more its better to get the higher rez screen thats slightly bigger. You cant overkill the size of a monitor.. more is deffo better ;)

i got that hiper and its sweet as a nut ;)

looks good.. not sure about that cooler cos i havent heard much. Maybe someone else can help.

might be a good idea to get an SLi mobo.. or even crossfire and get a 3870. just so your futureproof.
