Can this run bf2

I recently played bf2 at a friends house and fell in love with it, i was wondering if my comp will be able to run it, Also when i play games like cs my temps on my cpu hit 68C and then it goes back down to 50 is that normal?

AMD Anthlon xp 3000+ barton
ATI Radeon x800 pro 256mb

That will run bf2 fine, I don't know anything about the temps though.

You will be fine at medium settings.

bs he can play high settings, but probably have to turn aa off and lighting med low

I'm gonna compromise and say a mix of Mid-High settings. As for the temps, far too hot. Your CPU shouldn't be going over 55*C when you're playing counterstrike, and it should stay in the 40s when Idle. Consider buying a new HeatSink.

do some research, measure your case, get some specs on the heatsink. Obviously the first one is a little more high-end, so I'm gonna say it will probaly be more effective. Either that, or it's just prettier.

Personally, I'd get the second cheaper one if you're not planning on oc'ing that thing to hell and back. If you are doin some heavy oc'ing, go ahead and get that first one. If you can save 20 bucks, why not?

yea my venice is runnin 34c idle and 38 when playing bf2 full settings
