i run 3 gb 2 x 1 gb and 2 x 512 kb.
i just like to fill up empty slots...
plus, i can run no page file and i dont have to worry about my games eating up my memory.

I may just hold off then.

I was just assuming that it would be a good thing to have 3 GB for games...I thought, the more the better for the game, like higher resolution textures and so forth.

And at $42 for the 2 X 1GB modules....I thought....how can I go wrong?...LOL

yessir.
the texture and resolution performance etc will be determined by your graphics card memory.

I have the exact same memory as you nagasama ...at least I think so.

I thought for the price of it, it would be a nice little upgrade....I am not sure now.

Yes, it looks the same as yours too ThirdLeft152

I think I am just going to go ahead and order this....just because its a cool deal...I paid $300 last november....OUCH!

It's $105 with an instant $20 off...that makes it $85

Then it has a mail in $40 rebate....for a total of $45

I know it takes a few weeks for the rebate, but i got mine the last time...it took about 3 weeks.
