can it handle the heat?

last night i ordered my build and i got a 6800gt because i had gone over budget with the rest. I am thinking about not putting in my video card till i canget an extra 50 or w/e the difference is for a 7800 gt. well really my question is, will the 6800gt be able to handle games? if not, id better start saVING

um it depends on what games you play

if you have a semi decent cpu + 1GB ram yes the 6800GT will be able to play u the latest games (some of them cant be maxed though)

hmm id probably be playing nfs most wanted(probnably not gpu intensive) cod2,bf2,cs and fear if i decided to. i dont think i would be abe to play ut 2007 on thins thing though

My friend has a 6800GT + 1GB RAM and can't play BF2 maxed out. He plays on High-Medium.
I it isn't that much of a price difference I'd go with the 7800.

Yea good choice 7800GT is a huge improvement over 6800GT.
