Dude hold a few days for that one, in 10 or so days you will be able to get it for less than $200, and prolly around $180 OEM, that's a lot of cash that could go toward shipping or whatever

I would not go for 680 / 780 unless you need SLI. This is old overpriced chipset. X38 performs slightly better to my opinion.

Unless you plan on dual 9600gt's a P35/x38 Chipsets are much better than 680i Boards

maybe wait on the q6600, also unless you plan on staying at stock the Arctic Freezer Pro 7 is not enough for an overclocker (unless you stop at 3.0ghz)

Ok, thinking of going with this X38 for $202 shipping included

DFI LP LT X38-T2R LGA 775 Intel X38

Anyone think this is a good choice? Seems to have good reviews, I will probably run everything stock for a while but I do want to mess around with overclocking eventually.

What should I get instead of the Arctic Pro?

where do you see the DFI LT X38 board for $202??? That one is $270. Your thinking of the DFI DK x38

You're right, my bad I was looking at both earlier. I am sticking with the cheaper DK since the specs are nearly the same.
