can 478 socket fit 775

That mobo can only run P4 max.

If that board ran 2 P4's at the same time, anyone would need an extra part time job just to pay the AC bill in the summer, and the electric bill year round.... gas bill in the winter would be nice though....

Well i been havein a crazy argument with my friend he claims that his old p4 478 socket CPU can fit and work in the new 775 sockets what do you guys say can this actually be possible?I keep telling him its not compatible.

That mobo can only run P4 max.

Or cut two notches and all the pins off the 478 CPU to fit it in the 775.
