The Abit I-P35 Pro is a really nice mobo and it can OC like theres no tommorow.

Rest of the rig looks good to me, OCZ makes some nice PSU's if your still looking

Get a x38-ds4 and you'll have PCI-E 2.0

By the time you're ready for DDR3, socket 775 will be obsolete and you'll be ready for a socket 1366 mobo and proc anyway

800mhz ram with timings of 4-4-4-12 can generally hit 1066 with timings loosened up to 5-5-5-15 so no point in buying PC2 8500 I don't think
