Going to buy in couple days and I am still unsure about the mobo and gpu.. gtx 260 or 4870? foxconn or gigabyte?

I would go with the gigabyte over the foxconn.

As for gpu's the 4870 is a better performing card. I prefer nvidia to ati just due to issues I had in the past. You would be happy with either card.

Will CUDA help in creating games? And it says the gigabyte can accept up to 16gb of ram? do they make 4x4gb sticks of ddr3?

ddr3 is triple channel. That means if you needed that much ram the best option would be to run 6x2gb for 12gb of ram.

I do not know about how cuda would effect creating games.

perhaps in programming assuming you want to use it for creating games.

I would just try a google search and see what you come up with.

depending on your preference, this could be a positive or negative, but it only supports xfire.

I am going to go gtx260 from dell for 150 - 20 MIR = $130 + shipping

EDIT: Okay I ordered it from dell. it was 160 including tax and shipping and then - $20 MIR i got the gtx 260 for $140... Should be here in 2 weeks so long! next the rest of my comp.
