I'm about to place an order. I don't have the budget for two 150GB Raptors so I'm going for the pair of Samsungs. If anyone knows of anything better say it now or forever hold your peace...

LOL I didn't realise my mobo is only SATA '1'. I've had to set a couple of pins on the hard drives to change it from SATA 2 to plain SATA. That's 1.5GB/S where it was 3GB/S. Is that going to lead to a noticeable reduction in data transfer speed or would these drives not be able to use more than 1.5GB/S anyway? Anyone know this stuff?
