Burn alot of cd's

I have a need for burning more than 1 cd/dvd at a time, and i only have a laptop. is there a way to run more than 1 external dvd-r drive from a laptop and have all but one mirror or the main 1? or would it be better to build a new desktop and what parts do i need? im looking to burn 4 things at a time if its possible. sorry if this is in the wrong forum.

I believe Nero supports multiple burners but i also believe they may all need to be on seperate channels...maybe someone else can clear that up tho

Nero supports multi burners, I have 2. Yes they can burn simultaneously.

I only have a laptop right now though, so would i be able to burn 2 dvds or cds if i get an external burner?

I don't see why that is not possible, although you may experience performance issues while burning two CD's/DVD's at the same time if your PC is not up to it.
