yeah as said by vernong, you can save a bit by getting the Q6600 from frys, and its a good idea to get the newer 7200.11 drive. I thought the 7200.10 would be cheaper but apparently not.

As for a case I agree on the Lian Li, the PC7+ case is relatively inexpensive, extremely well built as all Lian Li cases are, professional looking, and has excellent cooling.

It's $1,005 total with the Lian Li case, bit over, theres got to be a way to trim it down some..
