Hello, I'm sure you all get this a lot, but I was wondering if this looks like a good build:

Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 $180.00

Foxconn P9657AA-8KS2H $99.99
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813186102

G.SKILL 1GB 240-Pin DDR2 $114.99
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820231085

Western Digital Caviar SE 250GB 7200 RPM 8MB Cache $69.99
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16822144417

eVGA GeForce 7900GS 256MB $169.99
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814130056

Total Price: ~$630

I'm a gamer, and I have a low budget. ~$600, not much more. I already have all other hardware thats not listed here, and I was also going for AMD instead of this, but changed it to Core 2 Duo due to reviews and word of mouth from friends, plus I don't want this to turn into a AMD vs. Intel thread. Anything I can change to get a better performance/value ratio for a gamer?

Thanks in advance. :)

Yea, I've been trying to look for a decent mobo based on reviews for the past 2 hours, looking around on newegg and other computer forums. Wasn't too sure about the ram either.

Can you suggest anything else to replace them that still fits in the budget?

Appreciate the reply. :) Night.

Double post to let people know there's a new post. Not that it really counts as a double since the first one wasn't counted. :) You guys can atleast see the first one, right?

Liking that Foxxcon mobo. Switching that with the mobo I had down and the pqi memory w/ the corsair, sets me at $610. Unforunately, that memory doesn't seem very enticing to me due to the fact that 3 of the latest reviews noted their memory was DOA. Anything you recommend I switch up to maybe replace that memory?
