I was going to comment on your cpu+motherboard choice until I saw that you changed those for two excellent alternatives. That videocard is also good thinking, in my opinion.

I would say change the power supply since Thermaltake only has good high-end psu's... but the reviews on Newegg are excellent so I don't think you could go wrong here.
 
I should mention that I will most likely be buying an eVGA 6800GS and OCZ Powerstream 520w from a friend

I'm not sure if I want to go with the 6800gs or 76... after all, it will only be a temp card until I can afford dx10

this poses a new question

should I get a 6800gs ~$70 or a 7600gt for ~$100

I am a gamer(if not obvious), but as of now, I only want something better than my 6600gt agp, so will $30 be worth the extra performance?
 
i'd get the 7600gt. costs a little more. better card. and it'd probably sell better if you wanted to get rid of it.
