Welcome to Tech-Forums, TechnoNoob!!!

Everything looks good to me. You have a pretty nice gaming system right there.

Your SSD link is going to the case by the way.

edit: oops missed the RAM

Is it a good build for what? gaming/music mixing/video editing/3D rendering/general use/etc... ?
Yes everything is compatible. However, you're missing RAM and an Operating System.
Yes 750W is plenty, you could even drop down to the 650W version if you wanted.

He could keep it if he wants to Crossfire one day.

You're building a new system with the latest components, might as well go for the latest OS. And make sure that you get the 64-bit edition.

As for RAM, these will do:
Crucial BL2KIT25664TB1608 Ballistix 4GB PC12800 DDR3 Memory Upgrade - 1600MHz, Non-ECC, Unbuffered, 2x2048MB, with LEDs at TigerDirect.com

Is that sound card really necessary? The mobo supports 8 channels.

Sound card isn't necessary, unless you're an audiophile on-board is fine.

I would suggest a 4-core if this is solely for gaming, AFAIK no games out/coming utilize a 6-core.
You can save roughly $20 and get an X4 980BE, their top-end 4-core.

Or, it looks like you're spending about $1,200? you can always go for an Intel build for more performance.

*Edit - Food for thought:
CPU: $220 Intel i5 2500K.
MB: $125 ASRock Z68 Extreme3.
RAM: $50 8GB G.Skill Ripjaws X 1600.
ODD: $19 Sony Optiarc 24x DVD/CD Burner.
SSD: $107 60GB OCZ Agility 3.
HDD: $60 1TB Samsung Spinpoint F3.
GPU + PSU: $460 EVGA GTX 570 + Corsair HX750.
Case + OS: $195 Corsair 400R + Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit OEM.

Total = $1,236 (-$60 in rebates)

Or, if you were set on the case, Azza Solano 1000 + Win7 for $215.
Total = $1,256 (-$70 in rebates)
