Where did you get that information?
My last MOBO was a GA-P35-DS3R it died a couple of months ago and it didn't have any kind of warranty I even contacted Gigabyte and they told me that the warranty of the MOBO was the retailer's (newegg) which was none, so I ended up buying and Asus which had 3 years warranty. Oh and the Gigabyte Mobo wasn't even 1 year in fact the MOBO was like 3 weeks away from being 1 year old.
