Default Building new pc

well... im looking into building a new pc. Im stuck on what kind of processor to get. Im going to buy the xfx geforce 7800 gtx. Im looking at the pentum dual core 3.2 ghz. I dont really want to do too much overclocking, maybe just a little. But I was also looking at an amd 64 x2 dual core 2.2 ghz. Wich one will perform better?

Almost everyone here will tell you to go with AMD over intel...especially for gaming.

Completed 1st System:
Case...Antec Super LanBoy $30
PSU...Antec SP2.0 500W $50
Mobo...MSI K8N Neo4-F $85
CPU...Athlon 64 3200+ Venice $162
Video...EVGA GeForce 6800 GS $196
Memory...OCZ 1GB (512MB x 2) $60
Hard Drive...Hitachi 80GB $20
Gaming without lag...priceless.

Well judging by the 7800GTX you are going to be gaming, so it may be better to get a single core instead.

The AMD dual cores kill the Pentium ones.
