Building a new gaming PC

Get a dual core 2 processor. Depending on what games you'll be playing, and how long you want this build to last, you might want to upgrade the video card.

I would change the following:

Seagate Barracuda 7200.9 ST3120811AS 120GB 7200 RPM 8MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - OEM

Might as well get a small performance increase and get SATA-II and a newer version of HDD.

LITE-ON Black 16X DVD+R 8X DVD+RW 8X DVD+R DL 16X DVD-R 6X DVD-RW 5X DVD-RAM 16X DVD-ROM 48X CD-R 24X CD-RW 48X CD-ROM 2M Cache ATAPI/E-IDE DVD Burner - Retail
For a tiny bit more money, you might as well get a DVD burner.

Your OS is only an upgrade of XP. This means that you need an older version of Windows for this to work. If not, you need a full version.

ASUS P5NSLI Socket T (LGA 775) NVIDIA nForce 570 SLI Intel Edition ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail

That motherboard you picked is a little excessive. Here's one for half the price.

Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 Conroe 2.13GHz 2M sharing L2 Cache LGA 775 Processor - Retail
This CPU will smoke the one you picked, and save you a couple bucks.

Everything else is ok.
