The Conroe release date is jumping around everywhere in the past week. Expect them out anywhere from the 14th to 23rd at the latest.

Why would a Conroe be better than a dual core Pentium D?

Because it's newer, is also dual-core, uses 65-nm technology, and beats the living shite out of the processor that beats the living shite out of Pentium D.

I see. Will it be a LGA 775, or something else? Will I be able to use the previously mentioned DFI board with it? Or am I just asking too many questions?

That's a DDR mobo. You'll need DDR 2. Wait a week, and then more should be out.

Thanks, guys. I guess all I can do now is wait a bit, and hope good motherboards appear that suit my needs. I'm sure I'll need help again...
