Building new computer - novice in need of help

My current rig started life as a barebones kit and right now theres not a whole lot that can touch it. You just have to know what you are looking at/for

Well currently on this computer i'm using up about 550 GB, so if the price for larger memory SSD is fairly exponential then I doubt it will be in my price range.

My current moniter it 20" so that size should be ok

And i'll look through those cases

EDIT: I looked at the case you linked first and it looks much nicer now i checked the other pictures of it out, i was just looking at a low res picture that made it look horrible.

Honestly my cable management sucks, and very rarely do I even keep the door off most of the time. I keep tearing it apart and rebuilding it, etc so I dont even bother with zip ties anymore.

And yes I know proper cable management means less heat, etc but I have 4 fans (2 intake and 2 exhaust) aside from cpu, gpu, and ram fans.

Off the top of my head (working on work laptop--Lenovo T60 (the power is astounding)
