Default Building my first PC

Im currently using it for Gaming & 3d max modeling for school.
Trying to keep my budget under 2k.

What ive looked into it, suggested by many i know. Just want another opinion.


Antec Nine Hundred Two

Enermax 85+ 1050w

Evga E760

i7 920

Intel SSD 80gb


Havent picked a GPU, thats what im thinking so far. Any suggestions are welcom, please and thank you.

I now have this bult.


Haf 932
Evga e758
Cosrair Dominator 6gb
Corsair 1000w
Corsair H50 water cooler
Intel 80gb SSD
Samsung spinpoint F3 500gb
8800 gts*

* waiting for gtx 480 to be release soon, using that in the mean time.

Curious why you decided on a 1000w PSU?

In the case of the GTX 480, probably an 850w.

1000w is a little excessive O.o unless by future proof you mean you're planning on tri-sli or tri-crossfire
