Hello. I'm new to computer building. I decided I was going to build a new computer for myself in November because I recently got in to computer gaming. An online friend made me a list of parts with the budget I gave him. I am going to order this soon and I need some help and opinions please. I have three main concerns when I post the list. 1. Dual or Quad? It is mainly going to be a gaming computer. Ill post the two proccessors to choose from. 2. The motherboard doesnt look like it is a good one. There are many negative comments about something to do with bios. Is it a good motherboard? 3. Mainly check if everything ties in. Basically see that everything meets each others requirements and such. I have heard some of my parts may not be compatible with each other.
Thank You very much.

The links dont seem to work, so just copy paste the id codes in to the newegg.com search bar.

I am going to stick with the dual. I looked at the parts you sent, the mobo seems to have worst reviews then the one I posted before.

^ newegg reviewers are stupid. dont listen to them. just do a google search on that model and you will see that it holds the highest overclock record for the e8400/e8500/e8600. it is a good board.

the e8400 will be fine for gaming, but do get the ram i listed. it is better than the other ram you listed.

I dont really overclock. Also many people say that when they use the ram you posted, it only uses 800 mhz. Can I use the first one I posted with your mobo?

To get the ram running at the correct speed all you have to go is go into bios and adjust the FSB:RAM ratio.
