Hey guys, I just got a job and I want to build a high-end pc. Now I've been looking all over newegg and I have a few ideas and I'm not new to this at all. I've been building since 2003, but for once I'd like to hear from others. I haven't built a pc for myself for quite some time. Throw all suggestions in. Oh, and some of you may know me from a while back... I come and go.

I'm sure you get these threads a lot.

Here is my ideas so far.

ive heard they have 7900GTs for $2xx at newegg for a while..
and for the case i prefer antec sonata

i would suggest you get a evga 7900gt KO
it has a copper heatsink = better cooling :)

are you looking for suggestions on everything else that goes into your computer? (mobo, cpu, psu, ram)

Telling us a budget would help.
Telling us what you will be reusing would help.
Telling us EXACTLY what you want to do on the PC would help.

Ok, um let's start with $1000. (I know this isn't a whole lot, just setting a mark for now)
Not reusing anything
I would like to play games on max settings and really take advantage of a nice computer.

Yes, suggestions on everything is cool. I have a lot of knowledge on what's good, just would like to hear what everyone has to say.
