no. i think the only difference is that it doesnt come with a fancy box like the retail one.

Well I know there is more in depth stuff than just that. I'll be able to upgrade to windows 7 with no problems right? It's just that this is a pretty big investment for me. My money is getting tight cause of stuff that is going on in my life right now.

Although, to upgrade to windows 7 don't you have to do a clean install? And that means a clean hard drive..
