Default Building a Gaming Comp

Looking to spend about 500-600$ on the comp and maybe buy a 24" 1080p LCD monitor with that.

What specs should i get?

hm, including a monitor its gonna really stretch your budget. do you have a harddrive and/or optical drive from an old comp you could re-use?

do you need an OS? mouse + keyboard?

i think he meant the 24" monitor is going to be on top of the 500-600 he plans to spend on the tower. so thats 500-600 on the tower only.

total: $582.47 + shipping, so it may go past your $600 limit. now of course that doesn't include an OS, so if you needed that then its gonna be higher or you'll need to downgrade some parts.

Yeah 600 on the comp itself and also I already have cd drives from my old comp that I could use.
I have windows 7 ultimate so I don't need an OS.

I'm digging the harddrive, but that case looks pretty ugly imo lol
