Default Building Budget System for Wifey

Hey guys,
So my wife is in need a new computer but is a minimalist when it comes to spending money on a computer. She does not want to spend more than $550 on the parts. We already have a HDD and Windows so those are not needed. Anything I'm missing with this build or anything that could be swapped for something better/more economical? She mainly uses it for photo editing, light stuff, facebook, and light gaming. She plays SWTOR and Age of Empires 3. Any comments are appreciated. - ASUS 24X DVD Burner - Bulk 24X DVD+R 8X DVD+RW 12X DVD+R DL 24X DVD-R 6X DVD-RW 16X DVD-ROM 48X CD-R 32X CD-RW 48X CD-ROM Black SATA Model DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS - CD / DVD Burners - ASUS 24X DVD Burner - AZZA Helios 910 Black / Red interior Japanese SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - AZZA Helios 910 Black - GIGABYTE GA-970A-UD3 AM3+ AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard - GIGABYTE GA-970A-UD3 - ASUS EAH6670/DIS/1GD5 Radeon HD 6670 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card - ASUS EAH6670 - CORSAIR Builder Series CX600 V2 600W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply - CORSAIR Builder Series CX600 - G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory Model F3-10666CL9D-8GBRL - G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB - AMD FX-4100 Zambezi 3.6GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor FD4100WMGUSBX - AMD FX-4100 Zambezi 3.6GHz

You don't need an expensive case like that. You can get this: - COOLER MASTER Elite 311 RC-311B-BWN1 Blue Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

My dad owns this case. Keeps his E2140 very cool.

Can probably let off on the FX, too. But I'm not the best when it comes to AMD.

You are wanting a budget system? Then let's save some money...

Tri-core CPU, may unlock to a quad: - AMD Athlon II X3 455 Rana 3.3GHz Socket AM3 95W Triple-Core Desktop Processor ADX455WFGMBOX

AM3 board capable of unlocking cores: - BIOSTAR A880G+ AM3 AMD 880G HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

500W will be plenty for this: - Antec Basiq BP500U 500W Continuous Power ATX12V Version 2.01 Active PFC Power Supply

Cases are according to taste.

I started to recommend just 4GB of RAM but that is at a great price.

Antec 300 Illusion / Antec EarthWatts EA650 650W / ASUS GeForce GTX 960 GTX960-DC2OC-2GD5
AMD Ryzen 5 1600 x6 core / MSI B350 Gaming Plus
Samsung 970 EVO 250GB M.2 SSD / WD Blue SSD 250GB / WD Black 750GB / WD Green 1TB
2x4GB DDR4 2400 / Win10 Pro x64
Mionix Naos 7000 Mouse - CM Storm QuickFire Rapid Mech Keyboard
