It was the max for the 940, though I haven't seen if there is another WR past that yet. Not for the 940 at least.

oops, forgot. the 850TX is definantely better, will be more future proof. and the core contact freezer comes with some good stuff. see mine and hiki's posts for hardware related stuff

I don't care about future proof since I am getting another build when school starts and this build will be gone in 3 months. Is the TX-2 still the best thermal compound? I heard that the Thermalright Ultra-120 eXtreme 1366 RT is the best CPU cooler.

hmm, not up to date on i7 coolers as i should be but i think the thermalright is one of the best.

and TX-2 is the best.

go for the 850TX if your going dual GTX285's
