you forgot an OS if your going with vista then 4gb is worthwhile if sticking with xp then its utterly pointless.

You should buy a better gfxcard for better performance in games e.g. 8800gts (320)

also if you just play Everquest 2 then a 7900gs is more than enough

It would be a good choice....if they actually made them anymore. The 7900GS's are gone and if all you play is Everquest 2 and thats all your going to play then just get an X1950PRO or even an 8600GTS....however I suggest the X1950PRO.

Since you are not an overlocker, then go with the X1950PRO, as it beats the 7900GS.
