i might switch to a DFI LANPARTY UT nF4 Ultra-D, reviews seem a bit better.

I have it and love it, I don't know about the one you were lookin at so I can't really compare them for ya. One thing to keep in mind is that the DFI LanParty UT nF4 Ultra-D can be a little finacky about ram. If you are willing to play with its settings however it is a great board and I love it.

Edit: Corsair ValueSelect and basically ValueSelect in general has been known to be hit or miss on the DFI ultra-d board. I would recommend getting better ram that works better for OCing but if you are sure you want value ram then that ram runs very well, I had it before I upgraded to my G.Skills. Seriously though I think you may want to look into getting better ram rightoff the bat so that you can OC if you want to. The G.Skill ram that I have has gotten good over clocks from what i hear from people like PZERO, I am going to try OCing mine hopefully tomorrow. It was only $194 or so at newegg, worth the money IMO.

Other than that looks like a good list

Edit2: you may want to look for a different monitor if your mainly a gamer, first 17" isn't that big, second you want 8ms or lower, the 12 kind of sucks and you could have some ghosting. Not necessarily, but still if ur spendin over $300 you should get somethin you really like. I LOVE mine but it was way pricey. See if people can suggest some good links to LCDs. Also if money is tight you can get a very good 19" CRT for fairly low cost that you wouldn't have to worry about anyp problems with in games. Still I like LCDs so I would look for an 8ms or lower LCD that is preferrably 19" if I were you.
