Upgrading to 2gigs would help with newer games, the 6800gs would be good for making games run smoother, for a little more you can get the 3700. You could also get an Opteron. Rest looks nice. If you get 2g of RAM, make sure to get 2x1g so you can run them in 1t. Good luck with your build.

thnx and im sorry to be newbish or w/e but is an opteron another processor type or something like that and i still need to have enough money for a LCD monitor

Yes an opteron is another pcu. It is an AMD that has been tested more and was designed for server applications. People are OCing them to incredible speeds. Do you really need an LCD? You could save alittle and buy a crt and use that money to upgrade some of your parts. Cheers.
