Budgets vs. Reality

Before I found TechForums and even new about newegg (I was a noob to the extreme), I had ~800 budget. Then went to Microcenter and got talked into buying stuff that I probably didn't need for a lot more than I needed to pay for it...Soooo, the 800 quickly became ~1300...and after a few months on TechForums and a lot more info, I could build a MUCH better rig with that kind of money....Oh well, live and learn.

also got an exhaust so it sounds like a v8:)

heh no it doesn't, kobe...it sounds like a biiiiiiiiiig

lol...if you want it to sound like a V8, get a V8.
just bustin on ya.
back to topic:
my first rig cost way too much. now it wouldn't cost way too much. but i keep buying different, newer, better (supposedly) things. and it racks up. but, i have a great job and really no debt...plus, my GF only takes half (LOL those of you with expensive women).
it is an expensive hobby, but there aren't many hobbies (worth having) that aren't in some way or another.
