Is the H100 significantly better than the H80? Will it fit in the Corsair 300R?

It's a little better with the right fans. Yes it'll fit.

Okay, then I think I will just go with the H80 save a few bucks and a little space.

No Rosewill is to Newegg like Great Value is to Walmart.

Modular just means you can remove the cables you don't use for better cable management.

I don't know why you insist on thinking all Rosewill units are junk.
Their Capstone and HIVE line have decent reviews.
