I picked that processor out due to the 6mb cache , maybe able to unlock another core tho i was more likey to oc just 2 cores ( thinking for games 2 cores with a high ghz with 3mb would be better then 3 or 4 cores with less cache per core )

As for the memory, I could get cheaper ram for 20 dollars less with less mhz , but I would think choosing 7 latency with 1333mhz would over better stabiilty and tighter settings.

I have a good quality psu with 500 watts, do you think it will handle this setup?

$ 392.95 + 36.35 tax = # 429.30

I do not have a operating system i was thinking for a retail verson of windows 7 ultimate which is $ 290. or home for 190.

Suggestions?

you need a better cpu for that graphics card. mb in the cache doesnt mean anything. and maybe if you have a bit more cash you could get a intel build. i always wish i went with intel as they are better.

my build turned out to be 700 bucks...

i5 2500k, GTX 560 ti, 8 gb ram, 750 gb hard drive, asus mobo .. search my thread to find out more specs
