You can play fear on a 6800gs (card im using) but i dont know how much it is, i got it from a friend 6 mo ago.

Note: I chose the Apevia Q-Pack 2 only because ZorrosRage wanted to build her a "small" computer (I took it literally of course).
 
I ran the free F.E.A.R. multiplayer on my ****** system with a crappy Radeon 9200, it looked decent but not amazing...

I only ran it because it was free, not really a gamer. But if it can run on my system...wow, it'll run on anything. ;)
 
Yea.. I first suggested that motherboard, only to realize the pci-e bus is limited to x8. However, it doesn't matter as the cards within his budget would utilize the bandwidth.
