Default Budget Build for friend... Help!

My friend wanted me to put something together for him for under $500. He will be using it for everyday use and mostly WoW and CoD, maybe a select few other games that come along. This is what I came up with but it is a little over the suggested price. Suggestions? Thanks.

I am not sure if the 9800gt will fit in that case?

yeah a 9600gt, or an hd 4670/3870 will play WoW and CoD just fine... even cut some decent rates in Crysis on medium or high settings

I've used a few of the HEC cases in a few builds and the PS surprised me quite a bit, It wasn't one of those cheap ones that weigh 6 onces, It has some weight to it and seemed like a solid PS, Has some pretty good amp to it too. 24 I think, Don't remember exactly but I was impressive. You might save the money on the PS and put it towed a better GPU and HEC also sells the cases without a PS so you could save a few there to put towed the GPU it's $34.99 without PS for the same case. Newegg.com - HEC 6K28BB8F Black 0.8mm SECC Steel MicroATX Mini Tower Computer Case - Computer Cases take the money saved on the PS and add it to the price of the GPU and you can get him a 4850 Newegg.com - SAPPHIRE 100245L Radeon HD 4850 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards also this is the case I used but without the PS and it's even cheaper but a decent case and fits the 4850 nicely, That's what I put in the last build I did. Just order a 120mm fan to with it. There is a 80mm in it but should be a 120mm.

If you are able to keep the subtotal under $600. Then go with Maroon's build, you'll be glad you did

No X2 can come close to that.

This coming from some one who owns an X2 4800+.

Pick a motherboard out of this bunch instead.

Newegg.com - AMD 790GX, AMD 780G, AMD 790FX, AMD Motherboards, Motherboards, Computer Hardware

Try not to get open box. Due to the fact it is essential that the motherboard comes with all the wires and connectors you need.

Thanks everyone for the help, I have made some adjustments based on what you have told me. However, my friend received a little extra pay so he says he can go up to $570. Is there anything else I can squeak out? Maybe an e7200 or a better mobo? 9800GTX?
