Bought new parts. Need Input pls

I bought new parts last night for my desktop because it hasnt been updated in 5 years... i need to know if the following parts will work well with each other or if i should switch stuff out. nothing has been opened yet so i can still take it back if needed.

8GB 1600MHz DDR3

Raedon hd 7850

Intel i7-3770K

MSI Z77A-GD65

Everything will work and how much did the 7850 cost, Make sure and see if your power supply will handle the 7850 as well

What is the PC going to be used for? If for gaming take the 3770k and 7850 back and get a 3570k and 660 in their place.

As was said, make sure your PSU is up to the task. If you haven't updated in 5 years I'm going to guess you will need a PSU.

For the PSU that's one of the things that has been upgraded in the past. I think i have an 800w psu.


And i do have a question what is the big difference between 660 and the 3570k and the parts i have

660 is a faster GPU, and the 3770k is not needed. It is essentially the same CPU as the 3570k except with HT and an extra 100 bucks.
