i finally caved and bought all the parts for my new rig; however, i haven't gotten the mobo and video card yet, because newegg ran out of the sapphire 512mb that i want.
here's my system so far....

antec 650w power supply $60 AR
E6600 Core 2 Duo $316
2GB GSkill 800mhz ram $184
seagate 320gb 7400rm perpindicular recording HDD $95
samsung dvd-rw with litescribe $38 shipped
windows vista home premium oem $120
this is the graphics card i want (Sapphire 512mb X1950PRO with HDCP) - i'm thinking i should wait until that becomes available, right? i really want HDCP and that seems like a great deal.
what other suggestions do you guys have for a video card and motherboard? i'd like to keep it under $300 shipped. Thanks!
