Priced under $1500 So far (excluding keyboard mouse monitors and win7 pro) Just looking for some input on my first build

I would get a SSD.
Also, if you plan to overclock, I would get the 2600k, along with a higher end cooler.
Chances are, you don't need 16GB of RAM. 8GB should be fine.

Yes, I was thinking of getting a cheap SSD put the OS and a few games on it (Namely SC2 and Diablo 3... once it comes out!) I forgot to mention Im giving the other 2 sticks of RAM to friend who needs it.
Whats the difference with the 200k?
Ideas on reliable high end coolers?

If its a build for just mainly gaming I would grab the i5 2500K and put the bucks you save from that towards an ssd or a gpu or better mobo

I agree with Ghost. Btw, Ghost, I just noticed something about your sig. I have the 640gb Caviar Black too, and mine has 64mb cache, not 32. Did they make two different models? Or did I just make your day by informing you your HDD is better than you thought? :wink_tongue:
