I have a SATA hard drive. I'm not sure I understand RAID, and I noticed in my BIOS settings I have a 'RAID Config' section. Currently, this is disabled.

For my hard drive, should I have this enabled?

raid is not used unless you have multiple drives. raid 0 = 2 drives ran and the data is split between the two, raid 1: 2 identical drives ran . data being copied to the two. ( so you have a backup)

IN other words you don't have to worry about any raid arrays with one drive.
