Bios

I might be getting an opteron 146 soon, and I was wondering how to install it. I have a socket 939 mobo and everything, but what I need to know is the software side. What will I have to do to make it compatible? 003 said I have to update the bios, but is there anything else? I don't have the installation cd for windows anymore, so I can't reinstall it if I need to do that

i've heard there are places where you can download the windows cd, as long as you have a key.
