Default BFG 7900 specs differ...

ok, so on the BFG website it says the Geforce 7900 GT OC 256mb Memory Clock 1360MHz, on the box of the one that i bought from a local computer shop it says memory clock speed 680mhz, im a fisrt time computer builder and im confused on why the specs of memory clock speed is half listed on the website

It's DDR ram (Double Data Rate) so your 680 act's as 1360.

The 680MHz is the real frequency it is running at. 1360MHz is the effective frequency. Since it's GDDR3 memory, it means that it's double. I'm not really knowledgeable in that area, but thats the basic. So 680x2 = 1360MHz.
