Question BFG 6600GT oC core temp!!

Yikes.......my 7900GT runs at 48 to 51 degrees C. I bought a couple of these BFG 6600GT OC cards (used for $60 each) and the core temps are consistently running at 86 to 100 degrees!! That doesn't sound good to me. Anyone have any experience with these cards? I'm selling my 7900gt before the prices drop to much in anticipation of buying the 8 series cards from Nvidia when they come out. Do they need aftermarket fans added?

Are these temps at idle or under load? My 7800GT runs at about 48 degrees C at idle. And that's WITH three case fans going.

I have a 6600GT at the moment whilst I await delivery for my upgrade... its not the OC's one, but i've never seen it go over 65 at load.

Thanks......that is the reported temp for 84.43 beta drivers from Nvidia. Must be bad fans. Guess I'll install someew fans. In the interim, I'll attach a case fan to the cards and see what happens to the temps. Thanks!
